Overview
In Skillways, you have the ability to hide the overall score in Progress. This can be useful when using weighted grading in the LMS to ensure your learners are not mislead by the overall score in Progress which does not account for weighting. By hiding the overall score, learners and instructors can still see submissions in Progress and performance on activities, but they will not see a tally of the overall grade for each path.
Important Notes:
- Hiding the overall score will reflect this change in all contexts where the path or learning unit is used. Be mindful before making any changes as they may impact other courses.
- You will need admin access in Skillways to make this change. If you do no have admin access, please contact your Skillways admin.
Go to Paths
In Designer, select Paths from the navigation menu in the top right.
Select one of the paths in the course where you wish to hide the overall score.
Go To Settings
Select the Settings tab.
Select Hide Overall Score in Progress.
Notes:
- You only need to edit this setting on one path in the course.
- This change will be reflected everywhere this path is used (potentially in other courses), so be mindful when making changes.
Select Save when finished.
Review Your Changes in Progress
If your course has already been set up in the LMS, you can review the changes.
Select the Progress (graph) icon from your course.
Select the Activity View tab.
Scroll down to the lower section of Progress and select Learning Paths.
The Learning Paths will only show the name of the path or module and the number of activities. The overall score for the learning path will be hidden from view.
