How Does Skillways Work with an LMS?

Overview

Skillways integrates seamlessly with learning management systems, web applications, and portals.  

You can still use an LMS for learner enrollment and viewing grades. Content created in Skillways can still be accessed through the LMS as shown below. 

A university or company can also use any peripheral non-learning tools in their LMS (e.g., Calendar and Announcements). However, anything that they wish to map to outcomes and track through Skillways would need to “live” in the Skillways learning path or course, as this program learning data and analytics are primarily generated, controlled, and delivered via Skillways. 

Any native LMS tools (e.g., Canvas Discussions or Assignments) currently cannot be used in a Skillways learning path or course since they are generally not LTI accessible and cannot communicate with Skillways. Skillways, however, has its own set of robust activities and assessments that can be used and mapped to outcomes.
