How Do I Set Up a Mixed Grading Assessment with Both Auto and Manual Score Questions?

Overview 

Skillways offers several grading methods for evaluating learning activities. The mixed grading option is used for assessments that contain both manual score question types (i.e. essay, file upload, audio recorder, etc.) and autograde question types (i.e. matching, multiple choice, drag and drop, etc.). Selecting the option for mixed grading when setting up an assessment, enables autograde questions to grade automatically while allowing instructors to input grades for manual grade questions in the assessment. 

Set up Your Assessment

Follow the steps in the How Do I Add An Assessment user guide to set up your assessment and add your questions.

Set the Grading Method to Mixed

Select Mixed from the Grading drop down menu.

Adjust any other settings (attempts, begin activity when, show total points, etc.) if desired. Refer to the How Do I Add an Assessment in Skillways user guide for further information on assessment settings.

Select Save when you are finished setting up your assessment.
